For a couple of weeks now Ezra has been asking for a haircut. I think it’s because he doesn’t like to have his hair washed, and we’ve had a few warm days and that mop of his gets pretty hot. But this week he went the extra step and asked if he could shave it off so it would look like Bruce’s. I put him off as long as I could, but he was pretty insistent. Today was the day.
First, the before pictures. He was looking pretty shaggy.

That’s a lot of hair.

Sorry, Jamma. It was his choice. (And you still have Finn, who refuses a haircut altogether now.)

OMG. First, I am glad he has a good head shape. Must have been all the holding when he was young and his head did not get molded wrong from laying in a playpen all day long. He looks cute. I am sure that it is better suited to him. Now lets hope Finn doesn’t see a mullet and decide that is the look for him. I may have to speak up in that case. Thanks for the picture show. Keep sunscreen handy. Wonder if he will have to wear a hat like poppa also. Love Jamma. PS: Coming home soon.

As a matter of fact, he wore a fleece hat to school this morning — it was 45 degrees! He seems very happy with the new ‘do. And don’t worry, if Finn ever suggests a mullet I will put my foot down. Autonomy only goes so far.
