Ezra’s Word of the Day

Ezra came up with a new word on the way to the park today.  He said, “Mommy, do you know what crumbs are called when they’re in your eyes?”  Of course, I was riveted, “What?” “They’re called crumb-bits.”  Apparently, his wife told him that.  I believe he’s talking about the crusty things that sometimes accumulate in the corners of his eyes.

Up and Running

I finally figured out how to get this blog going so … here goes! Here’s the entry I tried to make on January 31st …

We’ve been sick all week (the boys had conjunctivitis and Bruce and I have serious colds/sinus infections, maybe even strep throat).  But, after five days, we had to get out.  So we took the boys on the Metro to La Grande Orange (kids eat free until 6:00!) and we had a nice evening out.  The boys’ favorite part: make your own sundaes.  Here’s a shot of the boys on the train.  Finn is in mid-cough.
