Christmas Day started early, although not unreasonably so, with two boys very excited to see if Santa had found us in Palm Springs. I think they were both a little stunned with their gifts — a bike for Finn and a laptop for Ezra. Santa did go a bit off the rails this year in the gift department, but he was probably just trying to make up for moving the kids away from their home.
They enjoyed their stockings too.
And then started working on the rest of their presents.
Finn was particularly happy with Jamma’s gift.
A little while later we drove down to San Diego to spend the afternoon with Bill and Therese and this whole crew.
Finn couldn’t wait to show Uncle Bob his new bike.
And they had a race … that was too close to call.
A little later in the evening Laura and Eric came by for a quick visit. So great to see them!
Before we left there was time for a few rousing rounds of Just Dance! Here’s Bruce, Finn and Thomas cutting a rug.
After the last two years of being sick as a dog on Christmas, this year was a total success!
